Zocono's Water-cooling Third Generation Gallium Nitride Grading All-in-one Machines Shipped in Bulk

Recently, the water-cooling third-generation GaN integrated machines independently developed by Zocono have been successfully shipped to the industry's top customers, adding a new territory for the company in the field of formation and grading power supply for EV batteries. At present, the equipment has been ordered by a large number of customers and started to be introduced into the domestic market in batch, being highly recognized by the customers. When the battery product enters the maturity cycle, it becomes an important means for lithium enterprises to enhance their core competitiveness and global voice by realizing extreme energy saving, optimal efficiency improvement and ultimate cost reduction at the manufacturing end. Formation and grading is one of the most energy-consuming processes in the back-end of battery manufacturing, occupying about 40% of the entire battery production line. With the increase in production capacity, it is urgent to solve the problem of energy consumption for formation and grading equipment.
 
With more than 20 years of experience in the field of intelligent manufacturing automation, Zocono continues to invest in R&D for technology iteration and innovation, leading the industry to launch the water-cooling third-generation GaN integrated machine, which applies three major advanced technologies of PCS HVDC bus, GaN power modules, water-cooling integrated machine to meet the customers’ needs of cost reduction and efficiency improvement in the battery formation and grading segment.
 
High Accuracy, Excellent Efficiency, Outstanding Energy Saving
The solution adopts the innovative HVDC bus and GaN power module technology, so that the current and voltage accuracy is up to ± 0.025% FS + ± 0.025% RD. Current amplitude is 5 bridge arm staggered-phase output, single-phase 40A, the current ripple ± 200mA or less, the current ripple less than the precision of ± 0.05% FS. The battery cell temperature of storage space can be controlled at ± 2 ℃, the machine charge efficiency is 85%, discharge efficiency 82%, and comprehensive power consumption is only 37%Q.
 
Low Cost, High quality, Short Cycle Time
Compared with the traditional solution, Zocono’s water-cooling third-generation GaN solution has high efficiency, low distribution capacity, decreases plant air conditioning power and etc., reducing the comprehensive operating cost by 20%-25.3% and the construction cost by about 15%-20%. All-in-one equipment is compact, plant occupancy space will be saved by more than 30%, while line loss energy consumption is reduced, further cutting equipment costs. More importantly, the commissioning cycle of the solution is shortened by about 67%, which is only 1/3 of the traditional one, with the production efficiency improved by nearly 20%.
 
Extended functions available and stable software integration
In terms of system extension functions, data analysis adopts data storage with fast query speed, which can realize production data process monitoring, data integration and sharing, and capacity prediction algorithm import, etc. The interface deployment takes the form of server + web interface broadcasting, and the web interface can be arranged on IOS, Android and other platforms, with many methods of accessing information and simple and convenient operation. The equipment is configured with the self-developed formation and grading detection system and seamlessly connects with the scheduling system, which shortens the commissioning cycle on site and improves the stability of the software system integration.
